Within the past few days, community members, students, and staff gathered at our two elementary schools to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of veterans with two Veterans Day tribute assemblies.
Students exemplified characteristics of Dighton-Rehoboth’s DRiving Toward 2030 Strategic Plan, including community engagement, communication, self and social awareness, and collaboration, extending heartfelt gratitude through their music, artwork, essays, and readings.
To the local veterans who joined us for the celebrations, and to all veterans past and present - thank you for your service to our country and our community.
