Dighton-Rehoboth Middle School/High School Crossover Opportunity Through New Algebra Program:
Tomorrow, October 30, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School (DRRHS) will open its doors to all Dighton-Rehoboth families for Green & Gold Night — a chance to meet teachers, leaders, students, and coaches, and see for themselves the wide variety of opportunities that prove "there’s something for everyone” at DRRHS.
There are some middle school students, however, who are already getting a sneak peek into the DRRHS student experience. This year, the middle and high schools are piloting a program that invites eighth-grade students in advanced math to attend Honors Algebra 1 classes at the high school, earning high school Algebra credits.
“This is a wonderful example of what we mean when we say We Are DR,” said Superintendent Bill Runey. “Our staff saw an opportunity to give students a head start, collaborated across schools, and created an experience that’s both rigorous and welcoming. Strengthening the connection between middle and high school is a key part of our ongoing focus on student retention and engagement — we want every eighth grader to feel excited and confident about continuing their journey right here at DRRHS. It’s that sense of unity and purpose that makes Dighton-Rehoboth such a special place to learn.”

Today our 7th and 8th graders enjoyed a wonderful presentation about all the wonderful offerings at DRRHS. Be sure to join us at Green and Gold Night on Thursday at 6pm.

We’re once again partnering with the Greater Attleboro Council for Children to help make the season brighter for Dighton and Rehoboth families through the Christmas is for Kids program.
Families who have participated before must apply by November 8, while new families have until November 22. Applications are available at every school and the Superintendent’s Office — or you can download one online.
Let’s come together to make DReams come true this holiday season! 💚💛
