Earlier this week, Palmer River Elementary School fourth graders had the opportunity to hear an important message about bullying prevention, internet safety, and making positive choices from Brian Rose, former Major League pitcher for the Boston Red Sox and a member of Bristol County District Attorney Tom Quinn’s Office.

Brian spoke with our students about what bullying looks like, what to do if you are being bullied or witness bullying, how to respond if you find yourself being the bully, and the importance of making safe choices both in person and online. Students also heard real-life examples and learned about the potential consequences of our choices.

The presentation, part of the Boston vs. Bullies program, uses the voices and experiences of professional New England athletes to help students understand that bullying can happen to anyone—and that we all have a role in creating a safe and supportive school community.

A big thank you to Brian Rose and DA Tom Quinn’s Office for helping us spread an important message:

Be kind. Speak up. Look out for one another.

Together, we can make PRES a place where ALL means ALL and every student feels safe, valued, and welcome.

Yesterday was a great day at Beckwith! We hosted our first home Cross Country meet in front of a huge crowd, and our runners got to show off their brand new green and gold jerseys! 💚💛 The boys came up a little short, but the girls brought home the win! Our next meet is next Wednesday at home against Freetown-Lakeville. Come out and support our Falcons! #WeAreAllFalcons #WeAreDR #DT2030 #EIS

Today we celebrate our IT professionals!
Students at Dighton Elementary have been learning so much that sometimes our teachers need to mix in a much-needed dance break to keep the fun going!

Mrs. Fernandes does just that! When her students are absolutely rocking their learning, they get to take a “rock break,” so to speak. 🎸🎶

Mrs. Lima even joined in on the fun and put in a song request!

We love seeing our Falcons working hard, having fun, and finding joyful ways to celebrate learning at DES! 🦅💚💛

It has been an incredible opening week here at Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School! There is always something special about seeing our hallways come back to life and the energy throughout DRRHS.

From welcoming the Class of 2030, new transfer students, and our continued Falcon family, to our three new CTE programs- Culinary Arts, Medical Assisting, and Public Safety- and the continuation of daily examples of Empower, Ignite, and Shape in our classrooms, it is safe to say that the new school year is off to a fantastic start!

What a great way to begin 2026–2027! We are excited about everything ahead and look forward to another year of learning, growth, opportunity, and Falcon Pride.

NBC 10 recently visited DRRHS to highlight senior Cole Gifford and his experience representing Massachusetts at American Legion Boys Nation. 🇺🇸 Superintendent Bill Runey and DRRHS Principal Dustin Demers joined Cole for the interview to help share just how proud the district is of his leadership and accomplishments.

Cole continues to make #WeAreDR proud through his commitment to service, his goal of attending the United States Naval Academy, and his desire to ultimately serve our country as a Naval officer. 💚💛🇺🇸 #DT2030 #EIS #WeAreAllFalcons

Welcome Back to School

ONE DR district. ONE Falcon family. ONE incredible year ahead!

Today, we came together for our 2026 Districtwide Convocation, and the energy was high!

- The Marching Band and Color Guard students kicked us off in true Falcon fashion.
- We celebrated the strength of our unified, PreK–12+ community.
- Superintendent Bill Runey challenged us to embrace what makes us strong, rethink what may need to shift, and continue to ignite, empower, and shape a district where everyone belongs.

We’re energized, we’re united, and we’re ready to get to work. Let’s make it a great year!

BUS ROUTES ARE NOW PUBLISHED!

Bus routes for the 2026–2027 school year are now available!

Please take a moment to check your child’s bus route and stop on the district’s Transportation Page: https://www.drregional.org/page/transportation

A few important reminders:

Arrive 15 minutes early to your child’s bus stop. Especially during the first few weeks of school, buses may run up to 15 minutes early or 15 minutes late as schedules are adjusted.

Don’t see your child’s stop listed? Please call or email the school so we can work with Bloom Bus Company to correct any errors. Your child should still wait at their expected stop, even if it is not yet listed on the published route.

Afternoon buses may also arrive up to 15 minutes late while routes are being finalized.

We will notify families by email when we are aware of significant bus delays.

Thank you for your patience and partnership as we get our transportation routines up and running.
