The DES Preschool is closed this week (2/26 to 3/1) for purposes of screening incoming students for the 2024-2025 school year. We will see our preschool students back at DES on Monday, March 4th! Enjoy your week!

DES would like to express our gratitude to the Dighton PTO for organizing an incredible Sweetheart Dance tonight. It was a fantastic event filled with fun for families and plenty of dancing. Thank you for all your hard work in making this event so special!

DES Kindergarteners and Teachers were awarded the Community Service Championship belt by Superintendent Runey this morning. The belt was awarded for all their help during the Holiday Toy Drive. #WeAreDR






DES Student Casey Giles had her Golden Ticket number called this week. DES will receive $5,000 and Casey chose to donate $500 to Save the Children. Congrats Casey!

Kindergarten Information Night for NEW Families. If your child turns five on or before August 31, 2024, they are eligible for kindergarten this fall at DES. Come learn all about registering your child and the screening process, hear all about our kindergarten program, see the classroom spaces, meet school staff, and take a tour of the building. This will take place on March 7, 2024 at 6pm. We hope you can join us!
